Managing the charge process for fleets of electric vehicles using Python and OCPP

May 26, 2019, 3 p.m. - 3:25 p.m.

The amount of electric vehicles on the road is rising massively. Charge points are used charge those vehicles. Often charge points are connected to a network and expose an API. OCPP is an open protocol for communicating with charge points in order to configure them, handle authorization, reading metrics, setting schedules and control the charge process in general. It is a websocket based protocol.

André and Auke will explain and demonstrate how The Mobility House uses Python 3.7 and OCPP to manage fleets of electric vehicles without blowing a fuse.
